Delete Your Data

The short version

AngerApp is built offline-first. Your journal, mood data, reflections and calming photos are stored on your device and are not sent to us. The free feature set needs no account. In almost every case your content sits with you alone, and one tap in the app erases it completely.

1. Delete everything in the app

To erase everything the app has stored on your device:

1. Open AngerApp.
2. Go to the You tab.
3. Open Settings.
4. Choose Downloads & Data.
5. Tap Delete All Data and confirm.

This cannot be undone. If you want to keep your entries, export them first.

What this erases

• Every journal entry and reflection
• Mood history, trigger analytics and streaks
• Your personal album of calming photos
• Favourites, blocked content and your quick tools
• Progress through the tracks and lessons
• All downloaded audio

Uninstalling the app also removes all locally stored data.

2. What we hold beyond your device

Two things do not live on your phone. We list them in full so you know what you can ask us to delete, and what you cannot.

• Purchase data (only if you buy something). If you buy a paid plan, our processor RevenueCat handles purchase, receipt and entitlement data under an anonymous identifier. No name, no email address and no account are attached to it. We can delete this on request if you give us the identifier.
• Synced content (only if you turn sync on). If you deliberately sync content, it sits with our provider Supabase, tied to a pseudonymous identifier rather than your name. We delete this on request too.

What we cannot delete

Purchase receipts held by Google Play and the App Store are not ours. Google and Apple keep those records, and both are subject to tax and commercial retention periods. For your purchase history, contact the relevant store directly. An invoice we are legally required to retain also cannot be deleted while that period runs.

3. Request a deletion

Email us at privacy@angerapp.io with the subject "Data deletion". Anything that lets us find the record helps, such as the anonymous RevenueCat identifier from the app settings, or the email address you used to join our newsletter.

We reply within 30 days, as Article 12(3) GDPR requires, and usually much sooner. The request is free.

You also have the right to access, rectification, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Details of those, and of your right to complain to a supervisory authority, are in our privacy policy.

4. Newsletter and website

This page is about the app. If you only want to leave our newsletter, the unsubscribe link at the foot of every email is enough. It takes effect immediately and you do not need to write to us.
